Report on District bord by Director Motion and second that John Silvernail serve as moderator for three years.  motion and second that the district raise seven dollars and fifty cts of tax money
Motion and second to raise ten dollars for repair the school house  motion and second that John M. Silvernail get 15 cords of wood 20 inches long at 46 cts per cord  Motion and second to put a wace (?) under the school house 16 inches thick to be let in the ground 10 inches

Annuel meeting tabled and ajourned to the 10

Pittsford Sept 10 1861
Meeting called to order by the Moderator.  Moved and carried that GW Whitbeck act as Clerk for the evening.  VP Whitbeck then resined his office as director of the district. which was accepted by the district.  It was then moved and carried that G. Patterson act as Director to fill vacancy of VP Whitbeck.  Moved that J.M Silvernail act as assesor of this district for the next three ensuing years.  Carried.  Moved and carried that J.M. Silvernail get 6 1/2 cords of wood to fill contract of last winter.  Moved that cords of wood be purchased in addition to the above.  Carried.  Moved and carried that a job be let to under pin the school house.  The job was then put up and bid off by V.P. Whitbeck for $11.50.  Wall to be 16 inches thick  11 inches underground and raised up level to where the school house now stands.  The job of 11 cords of wood waqs put up and bid off by J.M. Silvrnail for 50 cents per cord to be delivered by the first day of January.  Moved and carried that the district raise  $2 for repairs on schoolhouse.  Moved to raise $8.50 for underpining schoolhouse.  Carried.  Moved and carried that the district shall have a female teacher for the winter school.  Moved and carried that the district have 10 months school during the ensuing year.  Moved and carried that this meeting be now adjourned S.S. from this date
